What are work based learning qualifications?
Work Based Learning Qualifications (WBLQUAL) is a European, Erasmus funded project working across five countries looking to refine a method of providing qualifications for work based learning that will also produce benefits for employers in performance, behaviour and attitude of learners.

Objectives
- Investigate aims, aspirations, issues, incentives and barriers through the following activities:
- Conduct research into employer’s views by gathering information from a range of employers in Poland, UK, Italy, Denmark and Latvia
- Conduct research into learner’s views by gathering information from a range of learners in Poland, UK, Italy, Denmark and Latvia
- Conduct research into Academic views by gathering information from a range of HEIs in Poland, UK, Italy, Denmark and Latvia
- Conduct research into application of WBL as a sector specific skills gap solution
Integrate findings of research and formulate best practice for communicating the benefits of WBL to learners, employers and HEIs - Disseminate findings as widely as possible
